[Guangdong and Hong Kong jointly build a bilateral sandbox for low altitude economy]The International Center for the Promotion of Advanced Technology Applications (Greater Bay Area) and the Hong Kong Productivity Council have officially exchanged the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between Hong Kong and Guangdong Province (Nansha) on the Full Space Unmanned System and Low altitude Economy Bilateral Sandbox, jointly launching the Hong Kong Guangdong Province (Nansha) Low altitude Economy Bilateral Sandbox Cooperation Mechanism. Both sides will leverage Hong Kong's international institutional advantages and the resources of the Nansha All Space Unmanned System Test Site, with unmanned aerial vehicles as the first phase, to promote the long-term integration of rules, standards, technical verification, and scenario applications of the all space intelligent unmanned system. Recently, CEEC won the bid for the Xinjiang Shache 200 MW/1200 MW grid type independent energy storage project, which is the first 6-hour long grid energy storage demonstration project in southern Xinjiang. The project is equipped with a 220 kV booster station, which can consume approximately 110 million kilowatt hours of abandoned photovoltaic power annually after commissioning, supporting the integration of local new energy bases into the grid.
