Kazakhstan President Tokayev seized this opportunity for multilateral dialogue and proposed a cross-border logistics concept, planning to connect multiple countries' routes through the TRIPP corridor, build a new transportation artery spanning Asia and Europe, and promote regional freight scale to a new level.

Target transit volume of 100 million tons

According to the information released by the Presidential News Agency of Kazakhstan, Tokayev proposed this idea at the summit. He pointed out that the global supply chain is undergoing profound changes, and the role of Central Asia as a link in East West trade is becoming increasingly important. Kazakhstan has set a goal to increase its total transit transportation volume to 100 million tons. At the same time, the country continues to deepen its cultivation of the trans Caspian international transportation route, which has seen a fivefold increase in freight volume over the past six years, and plans to increase its capacity to 20 million tons in the future.

Corridor linkage concept

Tokayev proposed that the middle corridor can be integrated and connected with the TRIPP transportation initiative. South Korea can utilize the Harbin China Logistics Terminal in Lianyungang Port to complete multimodal transportation to Central Asia. By combining the potential of multiple routes, an end-to-end transportation and logistics chain can be formed, starting from South Korea, passing through Central Asia, and finally reaching Europe, connecting a new freight route from East Asia to Europe. TRIPP project traceability

TRIPP, also known as Trump International Peace and Prosperity Path, originated from the trilateral meeting on August 8, 2025.
