This is the most common daily scene of rural electricity consumption after the implementation of the State Grid's 15th Five Year Plan for upgrading rural power grids.

By 2030, the average power outage time per household in the rural power grid will decrease by more than 30% compared to 2025. The renovation will cover the backbone network of all counties in China with weak power grid connections, and address the historical problems of insufficient power supply capacity and weak cross regional mutual assistance in some remote counties.

In response to seasonal and temporary electricity demand in rural areas such as tea roasting, tobacco curing, irrigation and drainage, street vendors and night markets, and express logistics, QR code electricity services will achieve full coverage in all counties across the country. Users do not need to submit traditional installation materials, and can quickly connect to electricity by scanning the code, greatly reducing the duration of temporary electricity access.

Fully implement low-voltage power supply for private business entities with a capacity of 160 kilowatts or less, and users do not need to build their own transformers, directly reducing the electricity investment of rural business entities. The open capacity information of the distribution network will be fully disclosed, and the grid connection efficiency of distributed power sources with an average annual capacity of over 60 million kilowatts will be greatly improved. The construction rate of fixed parking space charging facilities in new residential areas will reach 100%.
