On September 22, 2026, the expansion project of the No. 3 main transformer of the 1000 kV Jingmen Ultra High Voltage Station officially started in Jingmen, Hubei. This is another upgrade and renovation of the core hub of the Huazhong ultra-high voltage Japanese ring network. After the completion and operation of the project, the layout of the Central China ultra-high voltage network will be further improved, and a resource optimization and allocation platform with wind, light, water, and fire complementary energy will be built.
