At the iSolution AI Digitalization Summit in Kuala Lumpur, representatives from China Mobile International and Quill Group have just signed a memorandum of understanding, and a new cooperation framework for Malaysia's green AI computing infrastructure has officially emerged. The rapidly growing computing power demand in Southeast Asia is giving rise to a number of localized and deeply collaborative digital infrastructure projects.

Local development experience connects with global technological resources
In this cooperation, China Mobile International will export international network connectivity resources, cloud service capabilities, and mature technical operation and maintenance experience, while Quill Group will leverage the advantages of Malaysia's local integrated project management, real estate development, and engineering construction to jointly explore the implementation path of green data centers and AI digital infrastructure.
Quill Group has been developing data centers in Saicheng since 2002, and has built multiple industry benchmark projects, accumulating long-term experience in the construction standards and operational logic of local high-level computing facilities. Both parties will jointly screen suitable landing projects and customer scenarios based on the market demand for AI workloads, cloud computing, and big data.
Accelerating the implementation of green computing power layout in Southeast Asia
Malaysia has become one of the fastest-growing markets for data center expansion in Southeast Asia in recent years. By 2026, the local government has received over 40 applications for new or expanded data centers, and the proportion of infrastructure investment related to AI computing power continues to rise. This cooperation did not directly finalize specific projects. All subsequent commercial joint venture projects will be gradually evaluated and finalized through the signing of legally binding special agreements. Keywords: computing power infrastructure, AI computing power

Quill Group's diversified business portfolio covers multiple fields such as real estate and renewable energy, combined with China Mobile International's cross-border network resources, which can help Malaysian local enterprises more smoothly connect with digital opportunities in ASEAN, China, and even global markets. This is also another deep collaboration between Chinese and Malaysian enterprises on the green computing power track in Southeast Asia, which will complement each other's advantages and provide more solid underlying computing power support for the development of the local AI industry.Editor/Cheng Liting
