Recently, the electrical system supporting contract for a 50MW combined cycle power generation project in the Khyber Oblast of Kazakhstan has been officially finalized. The signing party is Chinese enterprise Taion Energy, and the project investment and construction party is a multinational power company in Shenzhen. Taion Energy will provide the overall electrical system supporting equipment for this energy infrastructure project with a total investment of approximately 60 million US dollars. The project will use China's independently developed F-class heavy-duty gas turbine and be constructed in two phases. The first phase plans to have a 50MW combined cycle generator set, which will gradually expand to a total power generation capacity of 200MW.

China's gas turbine exports another child

The project is located in the Khyber Oblast of Kazakhstan and is one of the local energy infrastructure construction projects. The first phase of the plan is to construct a 50MW combined cycle power generation unit, using China's independently developed F-class heavy-duty gas turbine. It will gradually expand to a larger scale in the future, and the final total power generation capacity is planned to reach 200MW, further enhancing the local power guarantee capacity and energy infrastructure level. This cooperation marks another landing of China's heavy-duty gas turbines and supporting electrical systems in the Central Asian market.

The overall electrical scheme covers the entire factory

In this cooperation, Taion Energy will provide a comprehensive electrical system solution for the project, covering core equipment such as medium voltage cabinets, low voltage cabinets, DC systems, UPS uninterruptible power supplies, common box busbars, and grounding resistor cabinets, based on project construction requirements. Taion Energy will also undertake equipment debugging and technical support work. The plan covers multiple key electrical systems of the power plant, achieving coordinated key links such as power generation, distribution, and auxiliary power supply through systematic design and integrated delivery, providing reliable electrical system support for project construction.
