Recently, the opening ceremony of Jangho Middle East Manufacturing Plant was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This factory equipped with industry-leading self-developed curtain wall intelligent manufacturing production equipment has officially started production, marking Jangho's upgrade from an engineering contractor to a local manufacturing and localization service provider in the Middle East market. After 18 years of deep cultivation in the Middle East market, Jangho has brought its research and development strength and intelligent manufacturing management experience to the Gulf region, providing curtain wall system solutions for the United Arab Emirates and the entire Gulf.

The first manufacturing base in the Middle East

The Middle East manufacturing plant is positioned as a localized production base radiating to the Gulf region. Li Jun, Executive President of the Overseas Business Unit and General Manager of Jianghe in the United Arab Emirates, stated that the Middle East manufacturing plant is equipped with industry-leading self-developed curtain wall intelligent manufacturing production equipment. Leveraging Jangho's accumulated research and development strength, process technology, and intelligent manufacturing management experience in the global curtain wall field, it provides a higher standard, customized one-stop curtain wall system solution for the United Arab Emirates and the entire Gulf region. The establishment of localized manufacturing bases will significantly shorten project supply cycles, reduce cross-border logistics costs, and push localized technical support and full lifecycle service capabilities to new heights. In the future, Middle Eastern manufacturing plants will collaborate with Guangzhou R&D and manufacturing base to build a dual base domestic and overseas supply chain support system, comprehensively enhance supply chain resilience, and significantly improve the agile response capability of overseas high-end curtain wall projects.

18 years of deep cultivation in the bay

Jangho's connection with the Middle East market began in 2007, with the Middle East being its first overseas strategic market. Over the course of 18 years, Jangho constructed a series of landmark buildings along the Persian Gulf coast, including the Abu Dhabi Sky Tower, Abu Dhabi Financial Centre, CMA Tower in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Jeddah Railway Station, and the planned world's tallest building, Jeddah Tower. Since 2023, Jangho has accelerated its pace of going global, achieving a significant year-on-year increase in overseas operating revenue in the first half of 2026. Before and after the production of the Middle East manufacturing plant, Jangho continuously won orders. In August 2026, it won the bid for the curtain wall project of the northwest transportation hub in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a bid amount of approximately 124 million Saudi riyals and 223 million yuan; In September 2026, we won the bid for the curtain wall project of W Residences in Dubai, with a bid amount of approximately 173.8 million dirhams and 318 million yuan. Jangho's Middle East strategy is shifting from project driven to capacity driven, from setting up local entities in Saudi Arabia to rolling orders and building manufacturing bases in Dubai to serve the entire Gulf. Local manufacturing is becoming a trend

The commissioning of Jangho Middle East Manufacturing Plant is a microcosm of the structural changes in the Middle East curtain wall market. The construction industry in the United Arab Emirates is currently in a period of rapid expansion, with a target output value of 60 billion dirhams or approximately 120 billion yuan by 2026, and a direct target of 100 billion dirhams or approximately 200 billion yuan by 2027. Under the Saudi Vision 2030 framework, Riyadh expansion, Qiddiya Entertainment City King Salman Park、 Large scale projects such as the new subway and hub system are being intensively promoted, and a large number of unit curtain walls are being used on the facades of commercial complexes, transportation hubs, hotels, and venues. Middle Eastern homeowners have strict requirements for fire resistance, wind and sand resistance, and thermal performance certification for curtain walls. Saudi labor localization policies and local content requirements have pushed up operating costs, forcing suppliers to choose to build factories in Saudi Arabia and surrounding areas. In September 2026, international curtain wall giant Pomasta signed a joint venture agreement with Dubai Albaddad Capital to build a specialized curtain wall production facility at Jebel Ali in Dubai, marking its first joint venture project in the Middle East. International giants and Chinese enterprises are intensifying local manufacturing in the same market, and the competition in the Middle East curtain wall market is shifting from who can build to who can deliver faster locally. The production of manufacturing plants in the Middle East means that the demand for localized procurement of curtain wall raw materials and supporting equipment is being released, covering categories such as energy-saving glass, aluminum profiles, aluminum plates, stone panels, structural adhesives, sealants, connectors, anchoring systems, as well as curtain wall processing centers and testing equipment.Editor/Gao Xue
