Recently, the Quanzhou Wuhan Sichuan selected ore container water rail intermodal transport special train developed by Pan Asia Shipping was successfully launched in Sichuan. The special train uses an efficient and green bulk to aggregate multimodal transport mode to help upgrade the transportation of upstream raw materials for new energy.
In the past, this type of cargo was mainly transported by bulk cargo, with multiple transfer links and high risk of cargo damage. This time, Pan Asia Shipping fully leverages its strong domestic trade network advantages to tailor two sets of sea rail intermodal transportation solutions for this project.
The three major nodes from Quanzhou, Nantong to Wuhan are all terminals under the China COSCO Shipping Port, achieving deep coordination of internal resources within the China COSCO Shipping Group. The direct docking and priority transfer of ships greatly reduce the time of stopping at the port, ensuring that goods can be quickly connected to the next round of transportation.
Ore is imported through foreign trade, and after further processing, it is transported for domestic trade through Pan Asian shipping, achieving seamless switching from outside to inside. From coastal ports to inland factories, there is worry free transportation service throughout the entire chain, which is transparent and more worry free.
This cooperation is another important practice of Pan Asia Shipping's deep implementation of the integrated operation mode of shipping+port+logistics, actively empowering the industrial supply chain, and ensuring stable operation. It is also a vivid reflection of the joint efforts within the COSCO Shipping system to smooth the domestic circulation.
In the future, Pan Asia Shipping will continue to deepen internal collaboration, empower more industrial supply chains, and use high-quality transportation services to help enterprises improve quality and efficiency
