On October 16, 2026, a grand concert celebrating the 77th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia was held at the Russian Overseas Chinese Home. Ambassador Zhang Wei of the Chinese Embassy in Russia, Chairman of the Marshal Chukov Historical Memory Protection Foundation Chukov, and First Vice Chairman of the Russia China Friendship Association Kulikova attended the event and delivered speeches.

In his speech, Zhang Wei stated that since the establishment of diplomatic relations 77 years ago, under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China Russia relations have always moved in the right direction and continuously reached new heights.   The Marshal Chuikov Historical Memory Protection Foundation has made important contributions over the years to protecting the historical memory of World War II, conducting patriotic education, and promoting friendly exchanges between China and Russia. We will remember and thank our veterans and predecessors for their contributions, learn from history, and create a better future for China Russia relations.

The Russian guests highly praised the development of Russia China relations, stating that regardless of how the international situation changes, Russia China relations adhere to the principles of "non alignment, non confrontation, and non targeting of third parties" and have entered the best period in history. Veterans are eyewitnesses and witnesses to Russia China relations, and the Marshal Chuikov Historical Memory Protection Foundation's organization of this event is of great significance. Both sides should promote the concept of intergenerational friendship and contribute more to the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and China in the new era.

About a hundred guests on site enjoyed the wonderful performances such as "I Love You, China" and "Evening on the outskirts of Moscow" jointly presented by Chinese and Russian artists.Editor/Min Jing
