On the distributed and centralized clean energy construction sites in mainland Europe, the deployment pace of integrated photovoltaics and energy storage is continuously accelerating. On October 16, 2026, LONGi Green Energy and the globally renowned energy group ENGIE officially signed a framework cooperation agreement. In the next two years, they will supply a total of 800MWp high-efficiency BC photovoltaic modules and 500MWh energy storage products to each other, supporting ENGIE's development and deployment of photovoltaic and energy storage projects in multiple key markets in Europe and around the world. The cooperation between the two parties has officially upgraded from a single project supply to a framework strategic coordination of multiple markets and categories.

Core product portfolio matches global high-end project demands

The 800MWp photovoltaic products involved in this agreement all use Hi-MO 9 series modules under the Longi BC technology platform. This product is based on HPBC 2.0 technology, with all battery grid lines placed on the back to achieve zero shading on the front of the module and maximize light absorption efficiency. The maximum power of the product can reach 680W, with a photoelectric conversion efficiency of up to 25.2%, fully meeting the core demands of centralized power stations for intensive land use, long-term operational reliability, and full lifecycle benefits. As of June 2026, the cumulative commercial shipment volume of Longi BC technology platform has exceeded 60GW, and the proportion of shipments in the first half of 2026 has increased to over 65%. The technology route has completed the leap from high-end categories to global scale mainstream.

The 500MWh energy storage product to be delivered will rely on LONGi ONE's full stack optical storage solution released for the European market. The round-trip efficiency of the communication side system with this native integrated architecture can reach 93.5%, and cluster level management technology can increase the available capacity of energy storage throughout its entire lifecycle by 7%, fundamentally solving the pain points of insufficient system collaboration and dispersed responsibility interfaces caused by the patchwork of equipment from multiple suppliers in traditional optical storage projects. At present, the solution is accelerating its implementation in European markets such as Italy and Romania, and has received project cooperation orders from multiple European energy companies. The actual market competitiveness of the product has been fully verified.

Long term cooperation, sedimentation strategy, synergy, and new value

This framework agreement is not just an ordinary equipment procurement arrangement, but a comprehensive deepening of the cooperative relationship between the two parties. Previously, the two parties had completed multiple rounds of cooperation upgrades. In May 2025, Longi, ENGIE, and China Power Construction signed a framework agreement in Paris, France, with Longi planning to provide over 1GW of high-efficiency BC modules. In November of the same year, the three parties further signed a cooperation agreement for a 1.5GW photovoltaic project in Hazna, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, with Longi supplying 1.1GW of Hi-MO 9 modules for the project. The stable operation performance under extreme conditions in tropical deserts has become the core trust foundation for ENGIE to upgrade its cooperation into a global framework agreement.

ENGIE, as a global energy giant with over 150 years of history, covers the entire value chain from energy production, infrastructure to terminal sales. It is the core leader in the global long-term green enterprise power purchase agreement market, serving nearly 200000 enterprises and approximately 20 million residents and small business customers worldwide. This cooperation upgrade marks the official upgrade of Longi's role from a single equipment supplier to a long-term partner of ENGIE's system solutions, providing stable product supply guarantee for the other party's global project planning in the next two years.
