On October 22, 2026, Zhao Long, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, met with members of the United Arab Emirates Federal Supreme Council and Chief of Rasheima, Sood, and his delegation in Fuzhou.

Zhao Long, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, welcomed Su Oude and his delegation's visit to Fujian and briefly introduced the high-quality development of Fujian's economy and society.   I believe that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China Arab relations will develop healthily and steadily, and local friendly exchanges between the two countries will work together and become better and better.   I hope to take this opportunity to strengthen the foundation of friendship, continue to deepen cooperation in high-tech, economic and trade investment, cultural education and other fields, promote cultural exchanges and exchanges, promote traditional friendship to bear more fruits, and help the sustained, healthy and stable development of China Arab relations.

Suode thanks Fujian for their warm reception. He stated that the people of China and Arab countries have been friendly for generations. After the meeting, Fujian and Lhasa signed an agreement to establish friendly provincial-level relations.
