On October 29, 2026, Ambassador Wang Yajun met with Iranian Ambassador to North Korea Talbeifa. Chinese Ambassador to North Korea Qi Han, Defense Attach é Major General Wang Yisheng, Iranian Defense Attach é Kahak, Counselor Shadman, and others attended.

Ambassador Wang introduced the four major global initiatives proposed by the Chinese President, especially the four point proposal on maintaining and promoting peace and stability in the Middle East. He expressed that China is willing to work with Iran to promote a stable and far-reaching comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, and play a constructive role in restoring peace and tranquility in the Middle East region as soon as possible.

Ambassador Talbeifa highly praised the important policy concepts and propositions put forward by the Chinese President, affirmed China's objective and impartial role in promoting the resolution of international and regional hotspot issues, and expressed Iran's willingness to work with China to achieve greater results in promoting the comprehensive strategic partnership between Iran and China, and jointly safeguard international fairness and justice.Editor/Min Jing
