On October 10th, President Conte, President of Guinea, attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the new terminal project at Conakry International Airport, the capital of Guinea. Conakry International Airport new terminal project, the project value is 150 million euros. The new terminal has an area of 20,000 square meters and a construction period of 3 years. The model of the project is a PPP model, which is invested by the Africa50 Investment Fund under the French Paris Airport Management Company and the African Development Bank.

According to the agreement, Paris Airport Management Co., Ltd. obtains the 25-year franchise right (2020-2045) of Conakry International Airport, the capital of Guinea. Paris Airport Management Co., Ltd. promised to invest in the reconstruction, expansion and upgrading of the infrastructure of Conakry International Airport.

The reconstruction and expansion project is implemented in several phases and step by step.

Phase 1: Build a new terminal.

Phase 2: Re-lay the airport runway, build a new cargo warehouse, install security cameras along the fence, and purchase a batch of off-road vehicles, vans, fire trucks, and large trucks. Upgrade the existing lighting system and fire alarm system of the airport.

Phase III: Newly build a VIP room, expand the parking lot, dredge and expand the roads in the west week of the airport; build a new oil depot (to store aviation oil); build a three-star business hotel.Editor/Huang Lijun
