5 kilometers upstream of the Chibi Cliff Carvings, a bridge over the Yangtze River is accelerating to close. This bridge was invested and constructed by Hubei Communications Investment Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as Hubei Communications Investment), with a main span of 720 meters. After completion, it will become the world's largest span steel-concrete beam cable-stayed bridge. At the end of last year, the Jiayu Yangtze River Bridge built by Hubei Trading was opened. After the opening of the Chibi Yangtze River Bridge to traffic, Xianning, the hometown of a thousand bridges, will have Shuanglong lying on the waves, forming a two-channel traffic pattern between Hubei and the Jianghan Plain.

A bridge is engraved with the desire of generations. Xianning, the "Hometown of Thousand Bridges", has 138 kilometers of the Yangtze River coastline, but there was no Yangtze River Bridge at one time. In 1992, Chibi entrepreneur Chen Tiansheng proposed to the local government to build a Yangtze River Bridge and even introduced investors for a while. Until 2014, the spring breeze of the State Council’s "Planning for Comprehensive Three-dimensional Transportation Corridor of the Yangtze River Economic Belt" blew green and fragrant city springs, and Jiayu and Chibi Yangtze River Bridges were both listed as the key points of new cross-river passages on the Yangtze River. Hubei Communications Investment Group Co., Ltd.
