On the morning of March 15th, at the track laying base of the Xiangyang-Jingzhou High-speed Railway in Jingmen City, Hubei Province, which has been under construction for two years, as the tractor smoothly and precisely laid a pair of 500-meter-long steel rails on the ballastless bed, it marked the start of the track laying for the entire line of the Xiangyang-Jingzhou High-speed Railway, which is led by the Hubei Railway Group for construction.
To organize the track laying construction safely, with high quality and efficiency, the construction team has put into use the country's first CP500Z intelligent multi-functional long rail laying unit. Compared with traditional units, this model can not only achieve traditional single-line track laying, but also cross-line track laying and simultaneous track laying on the left and right lines, realizing "one machine with three functions", and is more intelligent, convenient and environmentally friendly.
At the same time, advanced industry equipment such as new multi-functional long steel rail tractors, intelligent mobile flash welding units, and mobile medium-frequency rail straightening machines have also been put into use to create a high-tech construction mode.
In addition, the construction team has applied the intelligent control platform for track engineering transportation management, and adopted the "video monitoring + positioning system" to supervise the safety of train transportation. The relevant operation data can be viewed at any time in the background, realizing remote centralized monitoring, accurate positioning and real-time management, and truly achieving "cloud supervision".

After the Spring Festival holiday, a great construction upsurge has been rapidly launched for the Xiangyang-Jingzhou High-speed Railway. 58 sets of advanced construction equipment and more than 5,400 employees are working simultaneously, creating the "Xiangyang-Jingzhou speed" of a daily construction progress of 7,200 meters for the bed slab, laying a solid foundation for the scheduled start of the track laying construction for the entire line.

The Xiangyang-Jingzhou High-speed Railway starts from Xiangyang in the north and ends in Jingmen in the south, with a total main line length of about 116 kilometers and a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
