On November 11, 2020, the Department of Transportation of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region issued an announcement that the bid for the Pingnan-Wuxuan section of the Wuzhou-Napo Highway has been opened, with a planned construction period of 3 years.

The project starts from the north side of Xiamazi Village, Guancheng Town, Pingnan County, and uses a T-shaped hub interchange to connect Lipu to Yulin Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Liyu Expressway"), passing through Guancheng Town, Sijie Township, and Sijie Township, Pingnan County. Wang Town, Jiangkou Town, Jintian Town, and Zijing Town in Guiping City, Dongxiang Town and Wuxuan Town in Wuxuan County, the overall route is from east to west, and finally from the north side of Hongling Reservoir in Wuxuan Town to the north side of Hongshi Village, a Qixing hub connecting G7212 Liuzhou Beihai Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Liubei Expressway").

The total length of the project route is 62.837 kilometers. It adopts two-way four-lane expressway construction standards. The designed driving speed is 120 kilometers/hour, the roadbed width is 26.5 meters, and the bridges are 12,990 meters/51 (including 2522 meters of extra-large bridges/2 and 9,232 meters of bridges). /33, the middle bridge is 1236 meters / 16), the bridge length accounts for 20.67% of the total length of the route; the tunnels are 12823.9 meters/5 (including 2 extra-long tunnels, 9720 meters long; 2 long tunnels, 2513.4 meters long, 1 middle tunnel) It is 590.5 meters long); the bridge-tunnel ratio of the main line is 41.08%. The project has 3 connecting lines and interconnecting connecting lines/10.379 kilometers. There are 7 interchanges in Pingnan, Siwang, Jiangkou, Jintian, Zijing, Dongxiang, and Qixing. Among them, Pingnan and Qixing are the hubs and Jintian. There is 1 service area, 6 ramp toll stations and other traffic projects and facilities along the line. Simultaneously construct three connecting lines of Siwang, Jiangkou and Qixing, totaling 10.379km.

The project is divided into 5 bid sections. Guangxi Road Construction Engineering Group won 2.179 billion yuan №1; China Construction Road and Bridge Group 1.393 billion won №2; China Communications Infrastructure Maintenance Group 1.091 billion won №3; China Communications Second Public Bureau won 489 million yuan №4; CCCC Second Aviation Bureau and CCCC Second Aviation Bureau Fourth Engineering Co., Ltd. won 1.763 billion yuan №5.
