Recently, the concrete pouring of the S8 section of the Luzhou Yangtze River Sixth Bridge, which XCMG participated in construction, has been completed, marking that the Luzhou Yangtze River Sixth Bridge will officially enter the main girder construction stage.

As the world's largest road-rail dual-use diamond-type three-tower cable-stayed bridge, the main bridge of Luzhou Yangtze River Sixth Bridge is 1,080 meters long, with a road width of 50 meters, and two-way six-lane plus rail transit. After the project is completed, it will become an important fast passage connecting the south and west of Luzhou.

The construction is difficult, the area = 6 standard basketball courts
It is understood that the main tower of Luzhou Sixth Yangtze River Bridge is 186 meters high, which is equivalent to a 60-story building. During the pouring of the S8 section of the side span, the terrain is complex, the valleys are vertical and horizontal, the surrounding environment is closed and narrow, and the pouring area is equivalent to 6 basketball courts, making the construction extremely difficult. Relying on the advantages of the smallest span of the same meter and the longest boom, XCMG successfully overcomes the constraints of small space and the construction of super-large side span concrete.

High construction intensity, total pouring weight>3000 elephants
All main bridge piers and main side spans are made of high-performance and high-strength C60 concrete, and continuous and uninterrupted pouring is required. The total amount of concrete pouring can reach more than 10,000 tons. Ultra-high-strength, super-ton concrete pumping construction is suitable for pump trucks The performance puts forward stringent requirements. At the construction site, 5 XCMG pump trucks are flexible, precise pouring, efficient and stable, which have been highly recognized by the project department of China Gezhouba Group.

Manager Fu of the project department said: “A pump truck of other brands also came in the early stage of the construction site, but the specially made C60 concrete for the bridge could not be pumped out, which seriously delayed the construction progress. Later, all the trucks were replaced by XCMG pump trucks. As a result, the original plan required continuous 40%. Many hours of pouring tasks were completed in only 30 hours. XCMG did not pick materials, and the efficiency was high. It was amazing!"
