On May 16, the Daishan No. 4 offshore wind power grid connection project located in the northern waters of Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province was successfully put into operation. Add clean and low-carbon energy protection.

Zhoushan Offshore Wind Power Project

It is reported that CGN Daishan No. 4, Shengsi No. 5 and No. 6 offshore wind farms in the northern waters of Zhoushan are the largest offshore wind farms in Zhejiang Province.

The Daishan No. 4 offshore wind farm, which is officially connected to the grid, has 54 wind turbines, including 36 4.5 MW and 18 4 MW units. The total installed capacity is 234 MW, and the annual on-grid power can reach 618 million kilowatts. When compared with thermal power plants of the same scale, it can save 170,000 tons of standard coal each year, reduce the emission of various harmful gases by about 470,000 tons, and effectively realize the full consumption of green energy. All the electricity will be used for the Zhoushan green petrochemical base to increase the energy content of the petrochemical base.

Zhoushan is rich in wind power resources. As of the end of 2020, Zhoushan has two offshore wind farms, Putuo Wind Farm and Daishan Wind Farm, and 5 locations of Changbai Wind Power, Cengang Wind Power, Jintang Wind Power, Daqu Wind Power and Dong Lvhua Wind Power The total installed capacity of wind farms that have been connected to the grid has reached 654,000 kilowatts, and the power generation scale has reached about 30% of the wind power in Zhejiang Province.

Zhoushan Offshore Wind Power Project

At the moment, new energy sources such as "wind and wind wave" are gradually becoming an important part of the energy supply in Zhoushan. According to calculations, offshore wind power is more efficient than onshore wind power, generating 20% to 40% more annual power generation, and has higher energy efficiency.

Next, Shengsi No. 5 and No. 6 offshore wind farms will also be included in the grid-connected system. After completion and commissioning, the annual on-grid power will reach 1.44 billion kWh, which will continue to inject green power into the Zhoushan green base and serve the healthy and sustainable development of the entire oil and gas industry chain.  Editor/Baohongying、design/wangxia
