On May 26, 2021, Shandong Provincial Highway and Bridge Construction, Road and Bridge Group, China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau, and China Communications First Public Works Group won the bid for the North Ring Section of the Second Ring Road of Shandong Jinan Ring Expressway, with a total investment of 6.8 billion yuan.


The main line of the project is 67.503 kilometers long, with 1 extra-large bridge (Yellow River Bridge), 7 large bridges, 5 medium bridges, 1 small bridge, 72 culverts, 89 passages; 9 interchanges (4 hubs are connected) , General interchange 5), 22 separated interchanges, 1 flyover; 2 service areas, 1 maintenance work area (combined with the Jiyang East toll station office area), 1 communication monitoring sub-center, 5 ramp toll stations . The main line project adopts the two-way six-lane expressway standard, the design speed is 120 km/h, the width of the integrated subgrade is 34.5 meters, and the width of the separated subgrade is 17.0 meters; the design of the bridge is highway-I level, and the design flood frequency is 1/300 of the super bridge , Large, medium, and small bridges, culverts and subgrade 1/100; peak ground acceleration is 0.05g~0.15g, and the peak acceleration of ground motion is less than 0.1g, and the seismic fortification requirements shall be determined according to the peak acceleration of not less than 0.1g.
