The Lalin section of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway is officially opened for operation, and the "Fuxing" is flying on the roof of the world! As the second "sky road" to Tibet after the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the Sichuan-Tibet Railway from Chengdu to Lhasa has to "cross seven rivers and eight mountains", with a cumulative climb height of 14,000 meters, which is rare in the world.

The Lalin Railway departs from Lhasa Station, with a total of 34 stations, 17 of which were initially opened. It descends along the Lhasa River, turns east via Gongga, passes through Shannan, Lang County, and Milin, and crosses the Yarlung Zangbo River to Linzhi Station.
At this point, Lhasa to Shannan can be reached in 1 hour and 10 minutes, and the two most important stations from Lhasa to Nyingchi have also reduced the journey from the original 1 day to 3 hours and 29 minutes! Editor/Tian Zengpeng
