The Ningyan Expressway in Yangzhou is about 89.6 kilometers long. The design standard is two-way six lanes and the design speed is 120 km/h. There are 8 interchanges, 2 service areas, and 2 hubs. The estimated investment is about 18.724 billion yuan. The highway project with the largest investment volume in the history of Yangzhou. At present, the Puyi Expressway, the pilot section of the Ningyan Expressway, has started. The control project of the Longtan Yangtze River Bridge was completed last month and the first concrete pouring of the lower beam of the north tower was completed.
It is understood that the Nanjing-Yancheng Expressway is the third line of the "Jiangsu Provincial Expressway Network Planning (2017-2035)" with the layout of the 15-shot, six-vertical and 10-horizontal highway network, and is the provincial key transportation project in the province from 2021 to 2023. The key advancement project of the Three-year Rolling Promotion Plan for the Preliminary Work is also an important infrastructure support project of the "Nanjing Metropolitan Development Plan".
In the future, with the completion and operation of the project, it will further link up the Moon Lake Scenic Area, Gaoyou High-tech Zone, Gaoyou Chengnan New District, Yuetang, Dayi, Sanduo and other parks, scenic spots, and key central towns, connecting Suyang Expressway, The backbone roads such as Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, Provincial Highway 353, National Highway 345, and National Highway 233 have greatly encrypted the expressway network of Yangzhou City and improved the overall operation efficiency of Yangzhou's road network.
