The first phase of Taizhou City Railway S1 line has a total length of 52.4 kilometers. There are 15 stations on the whole line, including 7 underground stations and 8 elevated stations. It is equipped with 31 new urban EMUs with a speed of 140 kilometers per hour.
Taizhou Regional Railway S1 EMU is a tailor-made urban railway vehicle developed by CRRC Tangshan to adapt to Taizhou's climate, human geographical environment and line technical conditions. The train is a 2-moving 2-pulling 4-car marshalling D-type EMU in the city, with a maximum passenger capacity of 1,045 people and a maximum running speed of 140km/h.
