Project Overview

Wuhan Metropolitan Area Ring Line Hannan Yangtze River Bridge and its connection project starts from the west of Juru Street, Caidian District, Wuhan, connecting with Xiaogan to Hanchuan section, crossing Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway (G50), Baiqu (S114), Juru River, Xiliu River, Shenhu Provincial Wetland Nature Reserve Experimental Area, Tongshun River, Wujian Expressway (S13), Yangtze River, Wuchi Expressway (S102), Wushen Expressway (G0422), Jinshui Zuozhi, Jinshui River, Futou Lake, Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway (G4), which ends at the south of Shanpo Street, Jiangxia District, Wuhan, and connects with the Jiangxia to Ezhou section. The route passes through Caidian District of Wuhan City, Hannan District of Wuhan City, Jiayu County of Xianning City and Jiangxia District of Wuhan City. The total mileage of the Hannan Yangtze River Bridge and its connection project line of the Wuhan Metropolitan Area Ring Line is about 71.04 kilometers. It is constructed according to the standard of two-way 6-lane expressway. The design speed is 120 kilometers per hour and the width of the roadbed is about 34 meters. The project includes 1 Yangtze River Bridge (the main bridge is long About 2.9 kilometers, the recommended plan is a suspension bridge with a span of 1600m), with 8 interchangeable interchanges, 4 ramp toll stations, 1 service area, and 1 management center.
