The construction mileage of the newly started 7 expressway (first-class) highway projects is about 410 kilometers, and the estimated total investment reaches 52.1 billion yuan. Inter-provincial traffic in other places has been greatly accelerated. The newly started G671 line Heshui (Taibai) to Huachi highway will speed up the improvement of the transportation infrastructure in the old revolutionary base area of Qingyang, realize the Nanliangtong Expressway, and build the Longdong comprehensive energy and chemical base for Qingyang City and the adjacent areas of Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningxia. At the same time, with the start of the second phase of the S28 Lingtai-Huating Expressway and the east extension project, and the S42 Zhangxian-Sancha Expressway project, the expressway network in Longdong and Longzhong will be further optimized, and the development of characteristic and advantageous industries in the county will be promoted. . The newly-launched reconstruction project of the Fengle-Mayingkou section of the Shanghai-Horgos highway of the G312 line (including the Yongchang transit), the G309 line from Heshui (Old City) to the Xifeng section, and the G244 line of the Qingyang transit section will further optimize the urban backbone. The road network structure will ease the traffic pressure in the central urban area.

Open to traffic project

The completion and opening of the two-car highway further promoted the economic development of the old revolutionary base in Qingyang, and the completion and opening of the Dundang Expressway further improved the road network structure of the Greater Dunhuang Tourism Economic Circle.
