The five planned railway projects are as follows:

Wuping-meizhou section of high-speed railway

Longyan to longchuan railway (hereinafter referred to as "kou kou railway") is the national medium and long-term railway network planning and the much starker choices-and graver consequences-in planning and construction projects, the line from fujian longyan by shanghang, ms wu, guangdong Manila ridge, mei country to heyuan longchuan, about 262 km, with a total investment of about 42.6 billion yuan, in November 2017 to complete all the feasibility review and issue the audit opinion. According to the consensus reached by China National Railway Group and Fujian and Guangdong provinces, the project will be constructed in three sections: Longyan to Wuping, Wuping to Meizhou, and Meizhou to Longchuan. In 2019, the construction of Longyan to Wuping section and Meizhou to Longchuan section has been started. At present, only the inter-provincial Wuping-Meizhou section (with a total length of 103 kilometers and a total investment of about 18 billion yuan, of which Meizhou section is about 89 kilometers and an investment of about 15.5 billion yuan) has not been started.

Starting from the Bingcun station of Meixian County and ending in Wenfu Town of Jiaoling County, the total length is 48.3 kilometers, with an investment of 3.932 billion yuan; It is planned to be constructed according to the standard of freight special line with a single line with a maximum traction mass of 3500 tons. Design speed 80 km/h, using internal combustion reserved electrochemical. After completion of the project will be cement and coal transport. At present, the pre-feasibility study review and the pre-feasibility study deepening scheme study have been completed, and the project feasibility study and the preparation of related topics are being carried out.

Railway between Tai Po and Chaozhou Port

It starts from Tai Po Station and ends at Jinshi Bay in Chaozhou, with a total length of 116.44 kilometers, including 41.75 kilometers in Meizhou and 74.69 kilometers in Chaozhou. The design standard is national railway class ⅲ single line internal combustion reserved electric and chemical railway, the design speed of the main line is 120 km. The estimated total investment of the project is 7.880 billion yuan, of which the Meizhou section is 2.869 billion yuan.

Meizhou to Zhangzhou high-speed railway

The starting point is Meizhou station of Longmeilong high-speed Railway, and the terminus is Zhangzhou Station of Fuxia-Zhangzhou high-speed Railway.
