On June 2, 2026, the third meeting of the China Nepal Cooperation Project Coordination Mechanism was held in Kathmandu, co chaired by Nepalese Foreign Secretary Rai and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming. Representatives from relevant departments of the Nepalese government and heads of relevant departments of the Chinese Embassy in Nepal attended.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged in-depth views on topics such as China Nigeria relations, high-quality joint construction of the the Belt and Road, development cooperation, economic and trade and industrial cooperation, Chinese enterprises' investment and contracting projects in Nigeria, and focused on solving the outstanding difficulties and obstacles faced by various projects, reaching positive consensus. Editor/Yang Meiling
