The Belt and Road Initiative is blossoming around the world, and Chinese companies are making great achievements in the energy field. Recently, DEC and SUNGROW signed two new overseas engineering projects, making positive contributions to the improvement of local infrastructure and efficient use of energy.
DEC Signs Thailand Energy Project
Recently, the joint venture led by DEC International Cooperation Co., Ltd. and the Electricity Authority of Thailand formally signed a general contract for photovoltaic, energy storage and integrated smart energy projects in Ubolratana, Thailand in Bangkok.
The project is located in Khon Kaen, Thailand, with a total photovoltaic installed capacity of 31.2MWp and a certain proportion of energy storage systems. After the power station is put into operation, the annual power generation is expected to reach 46,000MWh, which can meet the annual electricity consumption of about 18,000 households. It will significantly improve the current situation of local electricity shortage, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 41,000 tons per year, and achieve zero carbon for Thailand. Provide assistance.

The Ubon Ratchathani project is Thailand's first demonstration power station project that integrates water surface photovoltaics, clean hydropower, efficient energy storage and comprehensive smart energy management systems. Another major breakthrough in the field of integrated smart energy power stations.
SUNGROW signed a large contract of 2.1GW in Saudi Arabia
Recently, SUNGROW signed a supply agreement with Energy China International Group to provide 2.1GW inverter solutions for the Al Shuaibah project in Saudi Arabia. The total installed capacity of the AC side of the project is 2.66GW, which is currently the largest photovoltaic power station in the world and will help Saudi Arabia accelerate towards the 2030 vision.
The project will use SUNGROW1+X modular inverters, and the 8.8MW large sub-array solution composed of 8 parallel-connected inverters has the advantages of better cost of electricity and flexible station construction. The inverter adopts equipment modularization and device modularization design. When a single unit fails, it will not affect other equipment, and the operation and maintenance are simple, ensuring better power generation performance of this large desert photovoltaic power station. The product leads the market with its innovative advantages of flexibility and convenience, and the cumulative global contracted volume has exceeded 12GW!

Xiong Gaoxia, general manager of Al Shuaibah project of Energy China International Group: The AI Shuaibah project is the largest photovoltaic project we have participated in so far. It will use SUNGROW's leading products and services. It is expected to provide clean electricity for 350,000 households every year and accelerate the low-carbon development of Saudi Arabia. Development process. As a strategic partner, we believe that SUNGROW will create long-term value for us.
Wu Jiamao, Senior Vice President of SUNGROW: SUNGROW modular inverter has dual advantages of string type and centralized type, which will ensure high returns throughout the life cycle of the project. The Middle East is one of SUNGROW's important strategic markets. After years of intensive cultivation, we have provided solutions for many large-scale photovoltaic power plants such as the Sudair 1.6GW project in Saudi Arabia and the 1.5GW project in Abu Dhabi, as well as many solar-storage integration projects. The overall market share is stable. Ranked first.Editor/Ma Xue
