On August 12, 2023, the COCODI cable-stayed bridge project in Abidjan, the economic capital of C ô te d'Ivoire, undertaken by CRBC, was completed and opened to traffic. President Ouattara of C ô te d'Ivoire, Minister of Equipment and Road Maintenance Ahmed Kofi Kwaku of C ô te d'Ivoire, and Chinese Ambassador to C ô te d'Ivoire Wu Jie attended the completion ceremony.

Vatara thanked Chinese companies for their contributions to the construction of the Kokodi Bridge in his speech. He said that the Kokodi Bridge will effectively alleviate the current situation of traffic congestion in the urban area of Abidjan, and is a high-quality project to improve people's livelihoods, making the Ivorian people proud.

Kwaku said that the Kokodi Bridge project is a landmark project in Abidjan, creating approximately 3000 job opportunities for the local area during construction.

Li Feng, General Manager of CRBC Ivory Coast Office, said in an interview that the Kocodi Bridge is the largest cable-stayed bridge in West Africa and will become a new landmark in Abidjan. It not only enhances the urban landscape image of Abidjan, but also provides support for the city's transportation upgrading and renovation.

The total length of the main line of the Kekedi Bridge project is about 1.63 kilometers, of which the main bridge is a steel channel beam single tower cable-stayed form, with a total length of 630 meters, a main span length of 200 meters, and a main tower height of 108.6 meters.Editor/Ma Xue
