On March 11, 2024, the Chengdu Chuanhua Multimodal Transport Smart Hub Project, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan, began construction, marking an important step towards the transformation of traditional logistics to modern smart logistics in Xindu District. The project is expected to be completed next year, with rail and public transportation as the core, to create a multimodal transportation operation center, a supply chain service center for the integration of the two industries, a cross-border e-commerce distribution supervision center, and a cross-border commercial logistics headquarters base, to support regional development.

This groundbreaking ceremony marks a new round of iterative upgrading for the modern logistics industry in Xindu District. The transformation and upgrading agreement between Chuanhua Logistics Group and the Xindu District Government provides a solid foundation for this process. The relocation of Chengdu Chuanhua Highway Port has been completed, paving the way for the smooth progress of the project.

The Chengdu Chuanhua Multimodal Transport Smart Hub Project will focus on expanding its international logistics, financial settlement, cross-border trade and other functions to serve the export of goods from Sichuan to the sea. The construction of the project will help improve the layout of large-scale logistics infrastructure in the city and the logistics distribution system in the city, which is of great significance for the implementation of national strategies and the construction of international trade channels in Xindu District.

The project is based on the concept of digital drive, deep integration, and green development, integrating with China Europe+to assist in industrial transformation and upgrading. After its operation, Chuanhua will spend three years building a billion level park, becoming a national model project, promoting the digital, green, and low-carbon development of the logistics industry, and making greater contributions to the high-quality development of the regional economy.
