On March 27th, the construction of the Crystal Silicon Photovoltaic Integrated Project in Baotou Park of Xuyang Group officially kicked off, with Ding Xiufeng, the Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, personally present at the site. Yang Xuegang, Chairman of Xuyang Group Co., Ltd., and Liu Haiquan, Standing Committee Member and Executive Vice Mayor of the Municipal Party Committee, delivered speeches expressing their expectations and wishes for the project.

Xuyang Group, a comprehensive large-scale enterprise group covering multiple business fields such as coke, chemical industry, new materials, and new energy, is actively responding to the strategic deployment of Baotou City to build a world-class green silicon city. The group is deeply involved in the layout of the entire photovoltaic industry chain, committed to building a complete industry chain in our city, including high-purity crystalline silicon, silicon wafers, battery cells, modules, and research and development design. The Baotou Park Crystal Silicon Photovoltaic Integration Project, which has started construction this time, includes five core projects, namely the 150000 ton industrial silicon, 120000 ton polycrystalline silicon, and 40GW solar photovoltaic silicon wafer project in Tuyou Banner, as well as the 10GW solar photovoltaic cell and 5GW solar photovoltaic component projects in the Rare Earth High tech Zone. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will play an important leading and driving role in the expansion of our city's crystalline silicon production capacity, the extension of the crystalline silicon photovoltaic industry chain, and the construction of a complete industrial ecosystem.

By building a full industry chain that integrates high-purity crystalline silicon, silicon wafers, battery cells, components, and research and development design, Xuyang Group will further consolidate and enhance its leading position in the field of new energy, and contribute to China's energy structure transformation and green development. The commencement of this project has a positive impact on the economic development and industrial upgrading of Baotou City and even Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
