On April 8, 2024, the signing ceremony of cooperation between Bayannur City Government of Inner Mongolia and Huadian Group and JA Technology 5GW photovoltaic module project was held in Linhe District.
At the ceremony, Bayannur Municipal People's Government, China Huadian Group Co., LTD., JA Solar Energy Co., Ltd. and Inner Mongolia Nur Energy Development Co., Ltd. signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement, Investment Cooperation Agreement and Cooperation Agreement respectively.
Beijing JA Solar Technology Co., Ltd. successfully settled in Bayannur, and joined hands with Inner Mongolia Nur Energy Development Co., Ltd. to establish Inner Mongolia JA 'ao Nur New Energy Co., LTD. The company plans to invest 1.4 billion yuan in Bayannur Economic and Technological Development Zone to build a PV module project with an annual output of 5GW, covering an area of 350 mu. The project will include the construction of an efficient PV module production workshop and the improvement of its supporting facilities. When the project is fully completed, it is expected to reach an annual output value of 5 billion yuan and create 700 local jobs. The implementation of this project not only fills the blank of Bayannur Economic and Technological Development Zone in the photovoltaic module industry, but also further promotes our city to become an industrial base with a complete photovoltaic equipment manufacturing industry chain, complete industrial support and strong radiation belt power.
In recent years, Bayannur Municipal Party Committee and municipal government have actively introduced a number of industry leaders, such as National Energy, Huaneng, Huadian, State Power Investment, etc., which have entered and invested. Up to now, 43 wind farms, 52 photovoltaic power stations have been built, and a national demonstration solar thermal power station has been built. By the end of 2023, the installed scale of renewable energy in the city has significantly expanded, reaching 9.633 million kilowatts, and the annual grid-connected scale is as high as 3.978 million kilowatts, achieving a 70% growth. Looking to the future, the scale of new energy started in 2024 is expected to exceed 10 million kilowatts, of which 6.838 million kilowatts of new energy projects are expected to be connected to the grid before the end of the year, injecting new impetus to the development of renewable energy in Bayannur.Editor/Zhang Liyuan
