At 10:00 local time on April 9, 2024, a total of 15 wind turbines in the first batch of Uzbekistan Zeravshan 500 MW wind power project undertaken by Shandong Power Construction No. 3 Company successfully completed 168 hours of reliable operation. During the trial operation, the units operated stably, and all indicators met the requirements of the EPC contract.
Before the reliability trial operation began, the project execution team carefully planned and carefully deployed, and formulated a detailed reliability test plan. In the process of operation, the executive team and the staff of the fan manufacturer cooperate closely, work together, maintain good communication and exchange, and promote the reliable operation efficiently and successfully. During the trial operation, the equipment ran well and stably, and the indicators were excellent, which was highly recognized by the owners, supervisors and independent engineers.
The Zeravshan 500 MW wind power project is the first large-scale wind power project in Uzbekistan and will become the largest commissioned wind power project in Central Asia, providing enough electricity for 500,000 households and reducing 1.1 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year, making a positive contribution to Uzbekistan's energy transformation and sustainable economic development goals. On November 24 and 25, 2023, the project completed the two milestone nodes of backward power transmission and the first wind turbine connected to the grid, and government officials such as Mr.Abdulla Aripov, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, and Mr.Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, Minister of Energy, visited the project site. Witnessed the historical moment of the first fan connected to the grid to generate electricity in Ukraine. Editor/Wang Tian
