On May 13, 2024, Huaneng Dashaba Agro-light Complementary Power Generation Project realized the full capacity of 150,000 KW, marking the milestone of China Huaneng's new energy installed scale successfully exceeding 80 million kW. This achievement not only made the company's total installed capacity of full-caliber power generation jumped to 250 million kilowatts, but also significantly increased the proportion of low-carbon clean energy in its total installed capacity to 48.47%. The growth of this proportion further demonstrates Huaneng's firm determination and remarkable results in promoting the development of green energy and facilitating the low-carbon transition.

Huaneng Dashaba Agro-Optical Complementary Power Generation Project Located in Baoshan, Yunnan Province, Huaneng Dashaba 150,000 kW agro-optical complementary power generation project is an important part of the strategic layout of central enterprises into Yunnan. The project cleverly uses the agro-light complementary model and synchronously builds a 220 kV booster station. Once operational, the project will have significant power generation capacity and is expected to generate more than 253 million KWH of clean electricity per year. This achievement not only means that 78,100 tons of standard coal can be saved annually, but also significantly reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 210,500 tons, thus achieving economic benefits while also making a great contribution to ecological environmental protection.

Since the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan, China Huaneng has continuously deepened reform and made remarkable progress in promoting high-quality development by optimizing the management system and mechanism. This process has achieved a leapfrog growth from an annual increase of 10 million kilowatts of installed capacity during the 13th Five-Year Plan period to 10 million kilowatts of installed capacity every six months in the middle of the 14th Five-Year Plan, laying a solid foundation for the Group's development goals.
