The 20th Thessaloniki International Book Fair in Greece was held in Thessaloniki, the second largest city in Greece, with the participation of publishing institutions from France, Romania, the United Arab Emirates, China and other countries, attracting nearly 100,000 people. Many visitors showed great interest in Chinese books.

According to Su Qian, deputy director of the book publishing center of Wuzhou Publishing House, the publishing house brought hundreds of books to the book fair, covering politics, culture, science and technology, children's reading and other fields.

The reporter saw that among the visitors to the Chinese booth were young people, old people, and parents with children, who were very interested in books about Chinese culture, philosophy and other aspects. "I started reading Chinese books when I was a student in the UK 40 years ago, and I feel very close to seeing Chinese books again in Greece after 40 years. I love books about Chinese philosophy." "Said Vasorios Vasiliader, 69, a retired Greek teacher.

Georgia Pispa, special adviser to the governor of Attica Province of Greece, told reporters that both Greece and China have ancient civilizations, and Greek readers have a strong interest in Chinese culture and hope that more Chinese books will be introduced to Greece.
