Recently, Samarkand and Jizak photovoltaic power stations in Uzbekistan realized the first batch of grid-connected power generation, and Renjie Intelligent supplied nearly 1,000 dry-hung photovoltaic cleaning robots with a total coverage capacity of more than 500MW. Among them, the Samarkand Smart cleaning project was reported by the international edition of the People's Daily, becoming another bright spot of cooperation between the two countries in the field of clean energy.

The Samarkand Photovoltaic Power Station project is one of the first large-scale new energy projects in Uzbekistan, located in the wasteland in the southeast of the country, covering an area of 5.13 million square meters, composed of 450,000 photovoltaic modules, with a total installed capacity of 220MW. After the full capacity of the project is connected to the grid, the annual power generation will reach 1.12 billion kWh, which can be used by 240,000 households, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 1 million tons per year.

Due to the increasingly serious local dust problem, in order to reduce ash damage and ensure power generation, the power station integrated the tracking bracket system and Renjie intelligent photovoltaic cleaning system in the early design stage. The project's single robot covers a length of 2.4 kilometers, which is the largest known project in the world. Renjie Intelligent through the use of high-power components, reduce system operation energy consumption, improve the durability of components and other technical measures, while the creative use of dual parking solutions in some areas, to meet the needs of a single robot long-distance cleaning. The solution not only effectively reduces the deployment cost of the system, helps reduce the LCOE, but also maximizes the operation efficiency of the photovoltaic cleaning robot, and realizes the double gain of "tracking + intelligent cleaning".

The first two major projects in Uzbekistan are connected to the grid, which is another milestone for Renjie Intelligence to help the energy transformation in Central Asia. Up to now, Renjie Intelligent has signed a capacity of more than 2GW in Central Asia, continuously contributing to the carbon neutrality of the Belt and Road region. Editor/Wang Tian
