On June 3, 2024, the Zhejiang Taishun Pumped Storage Power Station Reservoir Project, undertaken by China Aneng Third Engineering Bureau Chengdu Branch, officially started.

Zhejiang Taishun Pumped Storage Power Station is a large (1) type project located in Siqian She Town, Taishun County, Zhejiang Province. As a daily regulation pure pumped storage power station, it is equipped with 4 reversible pump turbine generator sets with a single unit capacity of 300,000 kilowatts, with a total installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts and an annual power generation of 1.2 billion kilowatt-hours. After completion, it will undertake the tasks of peak regulation, valley filling, emergency standby, etc. of the power system. At the same time, it has frequency regulation and phase regulation functions, and can cooperate with nuclear power, wind power and other operations. It saves about 82,000 tons of coal consumption and reduces carbon dioxide emissions by about 164,000 tons each year. It is of great significance to promote the scale development of green energy, assist energy "dual control" and achieve the "dual carbon" goals.

China Aneng Third Engineering Bureau independently won the bid for the C1 bid of Zhejiang Taishun Energy Storage Power Station. Chengdu Branch mainly undertakes the construction projects of the upper reservoir project, the upper reservoir inlet/outlet, the opening and closing machine room and the guard room project, the permanent highway project on the site, the safety isolation fence in the project area, the permanent safety monitoring civil engineering project, the water conservation and environmental protection project, and the digitalization of infrastructure.

Since the personnel entered the site, the project department has had consistent goals and clear division of labor. It quickly started from engineering technology, quality and environmental protection, safe and civilized construction, and comprehensive management, and formulated 70 systems and methods to standardize work responsibilities and process requirements, providing institutional guarantees for the standardized and standardized operation of the project. At the same time, according to the preparation plan for the start of construction, the responsibility was consolidated and the implementation was strictly enforced, and all preparations for the start of construction quickly got on track.
