On June 18, 2024, Qinshan Nuclear Power, together with CNNC Engineering, Jiangsu University, Shanghai Apollo and other units, jointly established the Joint Research and Development Center for Green Nuclear Energy Innovation Technology, and formally signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement at the center's launch ceremony. The event brought together important figures in the industry, including Yuan Shouqi, director of the National Pump Engineering Center, Xing Ji, chief expert of CNNC, Xing Weihong, president of Jiangsu University, Li Hong, vice president, and Shang Xianhe, general manager of Qinshan Nuclear Power, who witnessed this important moment together. The establishment of this joint research and development center marks that all parties have taken substantial steps in the field of green nuclear energy innovation technology and are jointly committed to promoting scientific research and development in this field.

At the launch meeting, Shang Xianhe emphasized the core position of scientific and technological innovation in the development of new quality productivity. He said that the establishment of the Joint Research and Development Center for Green Nuclear Energy Innovation Technology is not only an important platform for Qinshan Nuclear Power to promote the close integration of industry, academia, research and application, but also a key engine to stimulate the vitality of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation.
