On June 21, 2024, the voltage regulator of Unit 3 of Xudapu Nuclear Power Plant built by CNNC No. 2 and 3 was successfully lifted into place on the voltage regulator support of 31UJA plant.
As one of the key main equipment of the primary reactor coolant system, the regulator belongs to the nuclear safety level equipment, which mainly plays the role of controlling the pressure of the primary reactor and protecting the overpressure.
The project department of Xudabu pays great attention to ensure the smooth hoisting and introduction of the regulator of Unit 3. They set up a party member attack team, and through careful planning and organization, carried out a simulation exercise of the sand table of the regulator hoisting. In this process, the project department not only optimized the construction process, but also strictly controlled the safety and quality standards of the site. These measures ensure compliance with the prerequisites before the installation of the regulator support and the hoisting of the equipment, and can quickly respond to and resolve any problems that may arise. These efforts ultimately ensure that key construction steps such as the introduction of regulator lifting into the UJA plant, the installation of regulator slings, the turning over of regulators, and the placement of regulators can be carried out in a safe, reliable and efficient manner.
With the precise positioning of the regulator, all the heavy equipment in the reactor building of Unit 3 of Xudapu Nuclear Power Plant has been fully introduced and accurately placed, and this milestone has laid a solid foundation for the smooth installation of the main circuit of the subsequent nuclear island!Editor/Zhang Liyuan
