On June 24, 2024, in Pinglu District, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province, a grand groundbreaking ceremony kicked off the 260MW photovoltaic power generation project of Sany Silicon Energy. The core leader of Pinglu District, District Party Secretary Hao Yun, personally announced the start of this important project. At the same time, District Party Deputy Secretary and District Mayor Yuan Dongmei, as well as District Party Deputy Secretary Li Bin and other leaders also visited the scene to witness this historic moment. Representatives of Sany Group, including Dai Qinghua, Chairman of Sany Silicon Energy, and Huang Bin, General Manager of Sany Green Energy Co., Ltd., also attended the groundbreaking ceremony, showing the group's high attention and expectations for this project.

The Sany Silicon Energy team will provide comprehensive and professional services for the project, covering the entire process from engineering design, equipment procurement to construction and commissioning. It is particularly worth emphasizing that the project will use Sany Silicon Energy's independently developed 660Wp monocrystalline silicon bifacial cell modules. These high-performance modules ensure the stable operation and efficient power generation capacity of the project with their excellent quality, further demonstrating Sany Silicon Energy's leading strength in the field of new energy technology.

This photovoltaic power generation project covers a vast area of about 7,181 acres. It not only has a superior geographical location, but also convenient transportation. In terms of planning, the project adopts an efficient design scheme of block power generation and centralized grid connection to ensure the effective use of energy and efficient grid connection. According to the plan, the project will build 68 sub-arrays and a 220kV booster station to meet the needs of energy output. It is expected to be fully completed on October 30, 2024. By then, it will have an annual power generation capacity of approximately 396.8682 million kW·h, which is equivalent to saving 119,700 tons of standard coal per year. This achievement not only means the effective use of energy, but also has a significant and positive impact on reducing environmental pollution and protecting the ecological environment, and has contributed to the development of green energy in Shanxi Province.Editor/Zhang Liyuan
