According to Qin Jihua, the construction manager of the Peru project of China Railway Tenth Bureau, the Qiankai Tunnel is 1839 meters long and is a two-way three lane tunnel with a designed speed of 60 kilometers per hour. The tunnel passes through several geological faults, requiring high construction technology and safety control.
