Chint New Energy and local developer Solar Bay jointly announced an important cooperation result - the successful acquisition of an EPC construction contract for a 21MWdc photovoltaic power plant in the Roto area of Manga. This cooperation not only marks a solid step in the in-depth cooperation between the two parties in the field of new energy, but will also significantly promote the vigorous development of New Zealand's new energy industry.

The project will use 33,312 pieces of Chint's high-efficiency N-type Topcon modules. After the project is completed, the annual power generation will reach 30,294,390kWh, and the average annual carbon dioxide emission will be reduced by 30,203.52 tons. The project has officially started and is expected to be completed and delivered in July 2025.

The Maungaturoto project is located in the town of Maungaturoto on the North Island of New Zealand, about 1.5 hours' drive from the industrial center Auckland. After the project is connected to the grid, it will make use of the abundant local solar energy resources and significantly enhance the application of new energy in the local power system. The Maungaturoto project is located in the scenic town of Maungaturoto on the North Island of New Zealand. It has a strategic location, only about 90 minutes' drive from the economically active industrial center of Auckland, and has convenient transportation. Once the project is connected to the grid for power generation, it will make full use of the region's unique solar resources, greatly enhance the penetration and contribution of new energy in the local power network, and promote the green transformation of the local energy structure.

In addition, Chint New Energy has also demonstrated strong strength and influence in the Australian market. It has successfully laid out and implemented multiple photovoltaic power plant projects, and accumulated rich experience in development, construction and operation, which has laid a solid foundation for the company's continued development in the global new energy field. A solid foundation has been laid for expansion.Editor/Jiang Mingyue
