On the morning of September 2, 2024, the concentrated commencement of major projects in the third quarter of 2024 was held at the Ronghua Hydrogen Fuel Power Cell R&D and Manufacturing Base project site in Lanzhou High tech Zone.

The Ronghua Hydrogen Fuel Power Cell R&D and Manufacturing Base project, which started on site this time, relies on the research and development achievements of hydrogen fuel cell technology from Tsinghua University Suzhou Automotive Research Institute to carry out industrialization and commercial applications. It covers a total area of 125 acres and has a total investment of about 640 million yuan. The main construction includes dust-free production plants, office buildings, R&D centers, testing centers, etc.

After the project reaches full capacity, the annual revenue is expected to reach 3 billion yuan, which will strengthen the emerging industrial chain in Lanzhou High tech Zone, promote green and low-carbon transformation, assist in the construction of the "6+X" advanced manufacturing cluster, and inject new impetus into high-quality development.
