Recently, Sichuan Sichuan Beer Technology Co., Ltd. ushered in an important milestone: its 2753.26kW distributed photovoltaic project officially started. The project is expected to be completed by the end of December 2024 and connected to the grid for power generation, marking a solid step on the road of green and low-carbon development of Sichuan Beer Technology.

The total investment of the project is about 10 million yuan, which is the crystallization of the strong alliance between Sichuan Beer Technology and Guangzhou Suikai Qingtian Solar Technology Co., Ltd. Through the renovation, reinforcement and installation of the roof of the Sichuan Beer Factory in Fushun Chenguang Economic Development Zone, the project will transform this area into a green energy production site, with an annual power generation capacity of about 2,154,800 kWh, which is equivalent to saving about 775.73 tons of standard coal, reducing carbon emissions by about 2,148.34 tons, and reducing sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide emissions by 64.64 tons and 32.32 tons respectively. This figure not only highlights the project's remarkable environmental performance, but also highlights its key role in promoting the transformation of the energy mix.

The technical highlight of the project is not only its efficient power generation capacity, but also its positive impact on the environment. The laying of photovoltaic panels can effectively reduce the heat radiation of light energy, so that the average temperature of the plant can be reduced by 2 to 3 °C, thereby effectively reducing the energy consumption of air conditioning and improving the work comfort of workers. In addition, during peak periods, the project can also reduce the load pressure on the power grid, reduce dependence on the traditional power grid, and enhance the energy self-sufficiency of enterprises.

In recent years, the State Grid Corporation of China has actively encouraged photovoltaic projects to be connected to the grid, providing a lot of convenience for photovoltaic construction enterprises. Zigong Power Supply Company has opened a green channel for the project, providing full tracking services from installation, construction to grid connection acceptance, ensuring the smooth progress of the project. At the provincial industrial and commercial distributed photovoltaic development promotion meeting held in 2024, Zigong City also clearly put forward the goal of striving to build photovoltaic energy on the roof of the industrial park, further promoting the development of the local new energy industry.
