Recently, the board of directors of Guangdong Electric Power approved the plan of Guangneng Tuoxun New Energy Power Generation Co., Ltd. to promote the second phase of Guangdong Energy's wind power project in Tuoxun County, Turpan, Xinjiang. As part of the overall 1 million kilowatt wind power project, the second phase of the project will focus on building 500,000 kilowatts of power generation capacity, with a total investment of 1.844 billion yuan.

The second phase of the project is located in Tuoxun County, which is rich in wind energy resources, and aims to install 50 wind turbines with a capacity of 10 MW each, and build a 50MW/100MWh energy storage system to enhance the stability and reliability of power supply. According to the analysis of the feasibility study in the early stage of the project, the area has excellent wind energy conditions, and the average annual equivalent full-load operation time is expected to reach about 2,005 hours, showing good economic investment prospects and feasibility.

This decision not only marks the company's further expansion in the field of renewable energy, but also indicates the effective development and utilization of wind energy resources in Xinjiang, which is of great significance to promote local economic development and optimize the national energy structure.Editor/Jiang Mingyue
