Recently, Datang Overseas Investment Company and Dongfang Electric International Company held talks in Chengdu regarding their cooperation, and jointly witnessed the signing and launch ceremony of Datang Uzbekistan Buka 320MWp photovoltaic project.

Both parties clarify that the Datang Uzbekistan Buka 320MWp photovoltaic project is the first new energy project invested and constructed by China Datang in Central Asia. Firstly, it is necessary to clarify responsibilities, ensure timely completion of tasks, establish a close coordination mechanism, and ensure the achievement of established goals before the end of the year; Secondly, we need to break conventions, create miracles, and create high-quality projects for overseas cooperation between both parties; The third is to unite sincerely, work together, sprint for 100 days, and create a new Chinese speed in Uzbekistan.

The photovoltaic project is located about 75km south of the capital city of Tashkent in Uzbekistan. After completion, the annual power generation of the project will reach 572502MWh, saving about 163000 tons of standard coal per year, reducing SO2 emissions by about 45 tons, and reducing CO2 emissions by about 448000 tons. At the same time, it will greatly alleviate the power supply shortage in Tashkent and help Uzbekistan achieve green energy transformation.
