On October 7, 2024, the 1000MW wind storage base support project of Inner Mongolia Energy Urat Back Banner ushered in a key progress - the first wind turbine successfully completed the lifting work, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent full capacity grid-connected power generation.

The total investment of the project is 3.57 billion yuan, which is an important layout of Inner Mongolia energy in the field of new energy. The project will build a series of supporting facilities including 100 10MW wind turbines and supporting works, as well as two 220 kV booster stations and operation management centers. Together, these facilities will form an efficient and stable wind energy storage system, providing a strong guarantee for the energy supply of Inner Mongolia and the surrounding region.

The successful installation of the 10MW wind turbine, the first unit in the project, not only validates the technical strength of the project team, but also demonstrates the advanced level of China's wind power equipment manufacturing and installation technology.
