Kazakhstan is advancing a major cross-border transportation construction project, building a new highway connecting the country and Mongolia. The plan is expected to have a total investment of billions of dollars and will be fully promoted by the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan.

This new highway will be an important transportation artery, starting from Ust Kamenogorsk in Kazakhstan, then crossing the vast land of Kazakhstan, passing through the Rydel region, and finally reaching Mongolia through the small town of Tuketa in Russia, achieving convenient connection between the two countries. This will not only greatly promote trade between Kazakhstan and Mongolia, but also bring unprecedented convenience to the travel of people from both countries.

According to preliminary planning, the total length of this highway will reach about 840 kilometers, making it a truly cross-border thoroughfare. About 190 kilometers of road sections have been completed in Kazakhstan, laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the entire project. In the future, as the project continues to deepen, more road sections will be included in the construction scope until the entire highway is fully connected.

The implementation of this project has profound significance for Kazakhstan. It can not only enhance Kazakhstan's transportation status domestically and internationally, but also drive economic development in the surrounding areas and create more job opportunities. At the same time, this highway will also become a bridge of friendship between Kazakhstan and Mongolia, further deepening the friendly cooperation between the two countries. Editor/Cheng Liting
