Recently, the world's largest tower crane was officially taken offline and delivered, marking a significant breakthrough in China's research and manufacturing of ultra large tower cranes. The maximum lifting capacity of the tower crane that was taken offline this time reached 23000 tons per meter. It was jointly developed by China Railway Construction Bridge Bureau and partners such as Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology, and successfully launched in Changde, Hunan and Xuzhou, Jiangsu.

This ultra large tower crane not only breaks the record for the world's largest tower crane, but also achieves comprehensive upgrades in structure, performance, intelligence, and other aspects. Its structure is simple and stable, with a heavy load capacity, high lifting height, and outstanding lifting performance, integrating high-end, intelligent, and green features. Especially by adopting advanced technologies such as parallel combination of double arm frames and joint operation of multiple mechanisms, four carts, and four hooks, the overall technical level of the whole machine is in an international leading position.

The tower crane is equipped with an intelligent control system that meets European standards, with an industrial grade, ultra-high computing power controller as the core, equipped with high-precision sensors and high-speed communication technology, fully realizing digital control of the entire machine. At the same time, more than 50 intelligent technologies have been applied to achieve millisecond level response and millimeter level positioning, making lifting more precise and efficient. In addition, active protection safety technology based on visual and radar multimodal fusion and big data tower crane fault diagnosis technology are also adopted to ensure the overall safety of tower crane construction.

The successful production of this super large tower crane will provide strong support for the steel structure hoisting construction of the world's largest span self anchored suspension bridge, Guangzhou Nansha Wanlong Bridge, built by China Railway Construction Bridge Bureau. The bridge undertakes the important mission of connecting Wanqingsha Town in Nansha District, Guangzhou with Longxue Island International Shipping and Logistics Center, and is the artery of the development of Nansha Free Trade Zone. The addition of two super large tower cranes will effectively solve the problems of heavy lifting components, high construction height, and large operating span of the bridge, providing strong support for the smooth construction of the bridge.
