In December 2024, China Power Construction Corporation (referred to as "PowerChina") and ZMW Group of the Philippines held a grand signing ceremony in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, and officially signed the general contract for the Ubai San Vicente Photovoltaic Power Station project.

The photovoltaic power station project is located in Ubai Town, Peppermint Island, Philippines, with a total installed capacity of 254 megawatts. It is an important project in the renewable energy sector in the Philippines.

This cooperation not only marks the further expansion of China Power Construction in the new energy market in the Philippines, but also reflects the deep cooperation between China and the Philippines in the field of clean energy. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will effectively alleviate the power supply shortage problem in and around Peppermint Island, providing more stable and reliable power guarantee for local residents and enterprises. At the same time, the implementation of this project will also strongly promote the development of the renewable energy industry in the Philippines, injecting strong impetus into the sustainable development of the local economy and society.(This article is from the official website of Jian Dao www.seetao.com.
