The Philippines will build its first large-scale floating photovoltaic project

Recently, a consortium formed by China Energy Construction China Power Engineering Jiangsu Institute and Energy Construction International won the bid for the Philippines' first large-scale floating photovoltaic project (NKS Caliraya Lake Floating Photovoltaic) EPC general contracting project.

The project is located in Caliraya Lake, Lumban City, Laguna Province, Philippines, with an installed capacity of 130 megawatts. The winning bid includes the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of the floating system and medium-voltage AC transmission of the entire floating photovoltaic power station.

After the project is completed, it is expected to generate about 200 million kWh of electricity annually, which will bring significant environmental and economic benefits to the local area, reduce carbon emissions, promote economic development, and promote the future development of sustainable energy in the Philippines.Editor/Zhao E
